A Word From The Artest at CIP

CIP’s collection of corporate awards and gifts is made by hand from top-of-the-line crystal. After a highly-detailed design process, each piece is inspected before delivery to ensure unrivaled quality and clarity that you can feel and see. A special blend of abstract design and contemporary elegance, our unique crystal awards are sure to sweep any honoree off their feet.

Hand-crafted Artistry

CIP awards and gifts are molded, sculpted and polished to perfection– all by hand. Throughout the process, our pieces undergo several rounds of hand polishing to achieve a smooth, even and brilliant finish. Our attention to detail makes our awards distinctive by design.

Tapered for Balance

Each of our hand cut awards is tapered from not one, but both sides to create a perfectly balanced piece.  Though a more expensive and lengthy process, cutting both sides at an angle is essential to maintaining the grace and proportional symmetry of the piece, making it more pleasing to the eye.

Beveled Beauty

Nearly each piece in CIP’s collection features a hairline bevel on each edge.  Added to prevent chipping that often appears on sharp edges, this subtle component retains sharpness without compromising the integrity of the edge quality. A delicate detail, beveling adds chic visual interest.

A Lasting Bond

Over time, lower grade crystal, as well as the glue in between layers of crystal, can become discolored. CIP’s uses only the highest grade premium optical crystal, offering unparalleled clarity free of impurities. When gluing crystals, CIP uses a mirrored coating between each layer. This not only deflects gluing imperfections, but adds another dimension of reflection, increasing the visual interest of the award. After the crystal is glued together, it is polished again to insure a surface finish that is seamless to the eye and touch. With such care taken during manufacturing, we guarantee that our pieces age flawlessly.

- "Yeah, we're going to need to talk about your TPS reports." - Bill Lundbergh

The title post above needs no introduction unless you were fortunate enough to be on a private island for the past thirteen year.  Office space the movie still holds up, quotes can be heard in offices all around America.  I think its because so many of us connect with the characters, living through their coma like lives.  Going though the motions performing dull tasks.

- "Eight, Bob. So that means that when I make a mistake, I have eight different people coming by to tell me about it. That's my only real motivation not to be hassled, that and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Bob, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get fired."

-Peter Gibbons

Try and fight it, but you know you've been there, working at a job with your only reason to come in and do the work is because you have integrity.  As a corporate refugee myself I know the feeling.  Switching from one job to the next thinking it might ends up being a career.  Always looking for a job is worthy of your talents and one that recognizes your hard work (witch is the true difference between a job and a career).  Oh, but what wouldn't you do for that boss that appreciates and advocates for you.  That motivation one feels when you are acknowledged for being the best at what you do.  Those mementos reminding you of the gratitude the organization has for you makes your career.
